About the Recipe
From fermented popango fruit in the Eleran Rainforest, pojin is the favorite alcoholic drink of eastern and southern Valtiel. It has a sweet, light taste and carries a powerful punch. It is often served with the seeds of the popango in the drink itself. The seeds burst when eaten, releasing a blast of sweet flavor in the drink.

The Alessian Isles has brewed up an alternative to pojin, fermenting purple corn to create chicha, a similar concoction.

Pojin is offered to Ayara during her captivity aboard Meric's ship, and it's part of many Revinian meals.
Ingredients

3 cinnamon sticks

1 diced apple
-
1 tbs cloves
-
1 gallon water
-
5 chunks purple corn (15oz)

toasted coconut rum, 750ml (optional)

Boba Balls, to desire, (do not include for chicha)

1 diced pineapple - (do not include for chicha)

1 tbs lime juice - (do not include for chicha)

1 cup sugar - (do not include for chicha)
Recipe

Bring water to boil with corn, cinnamon sticks, and cloves on medium low

Simmer for 30 minutes

Remove from heat and strain out corn, spices

Stir in lime juice and sugar (skip if making chicha)

Stir in pineapple (skip if making chicha)

Stir in apple

Stir in toasted coconut rum

Add boba balls (skip if making chicha)
