The heart of the Twelve Divines faith, Melaine has long been one of Valtiel's most powerful realms. Its sprawling coastal cliff-city capital of Paradavedra is rivaled by only Atula. Here, an absolute monarchy has ruled for centuries, and the Paramount of the Twelve Divines, the head of the church, resides.

Melaine prides itself on its sprawling geography, from the mighty Espas Mountains, the riviera, sweeping plains, and the Eleran Rainforest. It is also the tale of two peoples as the divide between powerful elites and destitute urban dwellers expands.
